Terms of service

Last updated 8 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy or use a Landfall eSIM, on our website or in our app. Landfall is run by CyberBakery Pty Ltd, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. "We" and "us" means CyberBakery Pty Ltd; "you" means the person buying or using the eSIM.

1. What we sell

A Landfall eSIM is a digital SIM profile with a mobile data plan for a destination: an amount of data (or an unlimited allowance) for a number of days. It gives you data only, with no phone number for calls or SMS unless the plan says otherwise. The network is run by our partner carriers in each destination; we sell and support the plan.

2. Before you buy

  • Your phone must support eSIM and must not be locked to a carrier. Our compatibility checker helps, but your phone’s settings are the final word.
  • Coverage, speed and the networks used depend on the destination and are described on each plan. Speeds can vary with location, congestion and your device.
  • Some plans slow down after a daily or total allowance; the plan says so if it does.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency you choose and include any GST or other taxes we have to charge. Payment is taken when you place the order, through Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. If a price changes between showing it to you and taking payment, we ask you to confirm the new price first.

4. Getting your eSIM

We usually issue your eSIM within a minute of payment, and show it on your order page and by email. Some orders are checked before we issue the eSIM, which can take a few hours; if we decide not to go ahead, we refund you in full.

Your order page link and the install details work like a key. Anyone with them can install your eSIM, so don’t share them. We can resend them to the email address used for the order.

5. Installing and using it

  • An eSIM can be installed once. If you delete it from your phone it usually can’t be installed again, so please don’t remove it until you’ve finished with it.
  • The plan’s days start as described on the plan, usually when the eSIM first connects to a network in a destination it covers. Unused days and data don’t carry over once a plan expires.
  • You can add data with a top-up while the eSIM is active, where the plan allows it.
  • You’re responsible for your phone’s settings, including turning on data roaming for the eSIM and turning it off for your home SIM if you don’t want home roaming charges.

6. Fair and lawful use

Use the eSIM for your own personal travel. Don’t resell it, use it in equipment that isn’t a phone, tablet or laptop, run servers on it, or use it for anything unlawful, for spam, or to harm a network. Carriers can suspend a line that’s misused; if that happens we’re not obliged to refund it.

7. Refunds

Our refund policy explains when you get your money back. It forms part of these terms.

8. Accounts and emails

You don’t need an account to buy. If you sign in, we send a one-time code to your email address. We email you about your orders (receipts, install details, usage alerts and refunds); these aren’t marketing and you can’t turn them off while an order is active.

9. Our responsibility to you

Our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms limits them. Beyond those guarantees, and as far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control (such as a carrier outage, a natural disaster or a government order), or for indirect losses such as missed bookings. Where the law lets us limit our liability, it’s limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid for it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. If you’re a consumer elsewhere, you also keep any rights your local law gives you.
