Belgium questions
Will a Landfall eSIM work on my phone?
Your phone needs to support eSIM and must not be locked to a carrier. Most phones from the last few years do. Check your phone before you buy.
When do my days start?
For most plans, your days start the first time the eSIM connects to a network at your destination, so installing early is fine. A few plans start when you install the eSIM instead; the plan page says which before you buy.
When should I install it?
Before you travel, while you're on wifi at home. Then, when you land, you only need to switch it on. Plans can wait a long time before first use; your order page shows the date to start by.
Do I get a phone number?
No. Landfall eSIMs are data only, unless a plan says otherwise. Calls and messages over apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime and LINE work as usual.
Can I keep my usual SIM in my phone?
Yes. On a dual-SIM phone your usual SIM stays in place for calls and texts while Landfall handles the data. Turn off data roaming on your usual SIM so your home carrier doesn't charge you.
How do I get online when I land?
In your phone's mobile settings, choose the Landfall line for mobile data and turn on data roaming for it. Your phone then joins a local network.
